• Location Data: GPS coordinates — only at the moment you tap Clock In or Clock Out
• Usage Data: Shift schedules, time logs, team messages
• Device Information: Device model, operating system, crash reports

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide shift scheduling and time-tracking services
• Enable GPS-verified clock-in/clock-out functionality
• Facilitate team communication and announcements
• Generate payroll reports for your organisation
• Improve app performance and fix bugs

3. Location Data — Our Promise

SwiftShift requests location permission only when you manually tap "Clock In" or "Clock Out". We do not track your location in the background, ever. Location data is used solely to verify you are at your workplace and is never sold or shared with third parties.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase servers with encryption in transit and at rest. Crash diagnostics are processed via Firebase Crashlytics to keep the app stable.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. Data is shared only with:

• Google Firebase (secure storage, messaging and analytics)
• Your own organisation's manager (who invited you to the team)
• Law enforcement, only if legally required

6. Your Rights

• Access, update, or delete your personal information
• Revoke location permission at any time
• Request full account deletion by emailing us
• Export your own data

7. Children's Privacy

SwiftShift is a workplace tool and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
